Driver has found a home!!

We are happy to announce that Driver has found his Forever Home! Some of you may  have heard of the story about the cat in Chicago who was burned with boiling water. Well that is Driver.  Here's the story...
The Founder/President of Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation saw a video of a cat being scolded with boiling hot water that was posted online on the Social Media website Facebook. Upon seeing the video, she quickly called her bestfriend and Vice President of WTRF to ask if she would go with her to rescue this cat. The scolding happened 3 days prior and no efforts had been attempted to find or rescue this cat. Death was knocking at this cat's door. With determination and belief in her heart, she knew she would rescue him. She did. Before rescuing the cat, she had called Felines & Canines to ask when she found this cat, would they admit him/her? They said yes. There was no question of if, it was a question of when. Upon his rescue and seeing all the burns he sustained, he was given the name Driver. He had The Drive to Live, The Drive To Love, The Drive To Trust, The Drive To Forgive.

Each person involved in the rescue of Driver played an important role. From the rescue, to the transport, to the admittance to a care facility. One couldn't have happened without the other. Together we made Driver's ending a happy one.

Whiskers & Tails Rescue Foundation will continue their efforts every day to get adoptable stray cats off the streets and into loving homes and to better the lives of ferals.
